Ad Sum: Becoming Our Role in the Awakening

Ad Sum means “I am here” in Latin. It is a call to be present and a declaration of participation in the awakening movement that is opening in the world at this time.

As many of you know, I have been looking at 2026 as a watershed year for the past twenty years. Here we are! I want to make the most of it, and being in the countryside with friends, new and old, is exactly what I want to do. Last year, a small group of us gathered at the Association DEVA property to explore the work of Pluto out-of-bounds and what that means for us. We ate well, had deep conversations, learned a lot, and experienced being in a place that felt both ancient and part of the new world emerging at the same time. I am so looking forward to doing it again.

Now that we are here in 2026, it seems like there is so much to digest, so much to talk about, and so much to presence. We will explore history as a context, be in the present moment in a beautiful place in the countryside, and contemplate the future.

Past revolutions, reformations and awakenings all began with conversations—new words and definition, inspiration and gatherings. This gathering is an invitation into a new conversation. In our time together, with the intention to be present, we will explore our roles in this vastly changing world. I hope you come with an open mind and an open heart.
